Not at all! You don’t need an engagement, anniversary, or big milestone to book a couples photoshoot. Sometimes it’s just about capturing this season in your life as it is right now.

Whether you’re newly engaged or a few years in, couples photography is about documenting your connection in a way that feels natural and true to you.

Where do couples sessions take place?

What should we wear for our couples photos?

Keep it simple. Neutral, earthy, or soft tones work really well, especially outdoors.

Think coordinated, not matchy matchy. Avoid busy patterns or big logos so the focus stays on you, not what you’re wearing. 


We’re awkward in front of the camera. Is that okay?

More than okay. Honestly, most couples say this.

These sessions are built around natural couples photography, so there’s no pressure to perform or pose perfectly. I’ll guide you when needed, but mostly I’ll let things happen as they normally would, so it never feels uncomfortable.
